Marking 2022 with a sunny groove, L.A trio Moonchild release their fresh single 'Tell Him (feat. Lalah Hathaway)', the latest from Moonchild’s upcoming album Starfruit (out 11^th February), following on from 'Too Good' and 'You Got One'. 'Tell Him' sees wispy guitar and piano propped up by sturdy synth-bass and locked-in drums that provide a neo-soul feel. Amber Navran's slender vocal style has a calming effect, her verses laced with unusual harmonies. The track also features vocals from Lalah Hathaway whose vocals are thick and syrupy like black treacle, juxtaposing Amber's voice wonderfully.
